Put the sentences in the correct order. If you're having trouble, you may take a peak in the answer box below if you so desire.
Joe: Hi Mark, Mary said you wanted to see me.
Mark: Hi, Joe. Come on in and have a seat.
Joe: Ok. So  what's this about, am I in trouble?
Mark: Relax, Joe. Everything's fine. You do a good job and I'm happy with your work. But there is one thing I'd like to talk about. I see that this months report was late, and I want to help you avoid that in the future.
Joe: I'm sorry Mark. It won't happen again.
Mark: Well, I know you Joe, you're a hard worker, so if your reports are late, there must be a reason. What can I do to help?
Joe: Actually, I didn't want to make trouble for anyone, but I usually don't get the final numbers from some of the other departments until the last minute. As you know, I'm very meticulous, so I need to get those numbers a little earlier. I can't run my figures even if one department is late.
Mark: I get it, Joe. Yes, you are meticulous and I've never seen any mistakes in your final results.  Now that I know this, I can bring it up at the next meeting of the department heads. Do me a favor and give me a list of the departments that are usually late with their submission. I won't say anything about it, but at least I'll know which departments to keep an eye on in the future.
Joe: Thanks, Mark. That will be a big load off my shoulders. It really has been bothering me.
Mark: No problem. I'll follow up with you after the meeting to let  you know how it went.
