Scrooge

  1. Scrooge, a cold-hearted London moneylender, cares only for money.
  2. He exploits debtors, pays his clerk Bob a meager salary, never gives to charity, and hates Christmas.
  3. On Christmas Eve, his deceased partner Marley warns him that he must change his ways.
  4. The Ghost of Christmas Past shows Scrooge his happy youth and lost love, revealing the source of his bitterness.
  5. The Ghost of Christmas Present shows many joyful celebrations, including at Cratchits poor, but happy home.
  6. Scrooge sees Tiny Tim and learns he will die if he doesn’t get treatment.
  7. The Ghost of Christmas Future reveals that Scrooge will die alone, and shows the Cratchits’ grief over Tiny Tim's death.
  8. Horrified, Scrooge begs for another chance and wakes up on Christmas Day, a new man.
  9. He showers gifts on everyone, helps Tiny Tim get medical care, and joins Fred's Christmas celebration.
  10. Scrooge finally embraces the spirit of Christmas.
