David and Goliath

  1. Goliath was a giant man, the general of his army.
  2. David was a small shepherd boy.
  3. Goliath challenged his enemies to come fight him.
  4. David took the challenge, and Goliath laughed.
  5. David was very skilled at protecting his sheep from lions and wolves.
  6. His weapon of choice was a sling, which can hurl a stone at high speeds.
  7. With his sling, he hit Goliath in the forehead with a stone, knocking him out.
  8. He then took Goliath's own heavy sword and cut off Goliath's head.
  9. When Goliath's army saw this, they ran away as fast as they could.
