Prince and Beggar

  1. Prince Daniel lived a rich and privileged life in his father’s spacious castle.
  2. Daniel had every toy a boy could want, and a horse too.
  3. But Daniel didn't like being a prince, there were too many duties and lessons that had to be done.
  4. There was also a beggar boy named Sam, who looked very much like Daniel.
  5. Sam lived an awful life with a drunkard uncle who often beat him.
  6. Sam met Daniel while he was begging at the castle gates.
  7. They decided to switch places, which was quite fun at first.
  8. But both soon wanted to return to their own life, so they switched back.
  9. They are still friends, and still switch places with each other sometimes.
