One of the greatest places for sharing recipes—Youtube. Who doesn’t like sharing a good recipe video with instructions and a demonstration? But if you’re someone who doesn’t want to be found, it may not be the best idea to start you’re own Youtube cooking show. But that’s exactly what Bryan Walker did, and it landed him in Jail.

Bryan Parker has been on the run for seven years. He is wanted in connection with drug trafficking for the Italian Mafia. He was in the business of smuggling drugs to other European countries.

Mr. Parker has good cooking skills, and he couldn’t resist showing those skills as a chef on his own YouTube channel. While Mr. Parker was good at hiding his face on his channel videos, he forgot about his tattoos.

The Italian Police were able to track him down and he was found somewhere in South America. He was extradited back to Italy for prosecution.

Similarly, another mobster blogger was caught after posting a photo of his favorite cheese. Forensic Experts were able to extract the mobster’s fingerprints from the photo. He was tracked down, arrested, and put on trial. He is now awaiting sentencing.

These actions by law enforcement to track down and prosecute mafia members is part of a larger effort that has resulted in the arrest of hundreds of criminals involved in murder, drug trafficking, extortion, and money laundering. Some have already been put on trial where hundreds of witnesses are ready to testify against them.

In related news, another sweeping bust has come after authorities in several countries worked together to crack the code of a popular cryptophone network.

Cryptophones are cell phones that automatically encrypt all messages coming and going into the phone network. The code was supposed to be unbreakable, but the authorities were able to crack the code. This allowed them to monitor the messages between criminals for some time which led to multiple arrests on many crimes such as weapons trafficking, drug smuggling, planned assassinations, and money laundering.

The bust resulted in the arrest of over 700 suspects and the seizure of over 64 million dollars, two tons of illegal drugs, and a cache of weapons. It is the largest sting operation of its kind.
